"For a gallon of elderberry wine I take one teaspoon full of arsenic then add a half a teaspoon full of strychnine, and then just a pinch of cyanide". Yum-yum....yes, those dear little ol' ladies had a winning recipe for creating a tasty drink - one any gentlemen would be more than happy to make his last.

LOVE that movie!!!
ReplyDeleteWe couldn't agree more, it is such a good film. :-)
DeleteCary Grant's facial expressions in this film are priceless. He says more with his expressions than some people can say in a hundred words.
ReplyDeleteReally fun film.
Some people find his expressions annoying in this movie, but like you I just think they are wonderful. I can't imagine anyone else but Cary playing this part, especially in that scene when Mortimer first discovers what his aunts are truly up to. Priceless!
