MeTV Schedules - Old and New

MeTV has just announced a new line-up for their Super Sci-Fi Saturday Night block which includes the addition of Sventoonie, a new show based on their popular weekday morning cartoon host Toony, at 10pm EST and Batman at 10:30pm. Star Trek is now pushed to 11pm EST and Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, which previously aired at 11pm, is now moved to Sunday mornings at 6am EST.

While I'm disappointed to see Buck Rogers leave the lineup ( we'll miss you Buck!! ) it's good to see Batman get some airtime again. This shuffling of the programming got me wondering how long I have been watching MeTV's Super Sci-Fi Saturday Night and enjoying Buck. So I let my fingers do a little walking on the laptop and tracked down old schedules from MeTV. If anyone else is curious about how the station's lineup has changed over the past five years, then you can take a gander at these listings. It looks like 2017 included the most change ( the blue highlighted shows denote changes ). The new 2022 schedule is available here:

  1. I'm glad to see that MeTV had changed its lineup a little. Although it has some terrific shows, some of them have been on the schedule for too long and need a rest (e.g., Hogan's Heroes).

    1. Changes in schedules always please some and disappointment others. I can just imagine all the emails the customer service department at MeTV has to put up with when they make a schedule change!

    1. It is a fun show! If you have internet service at home, then you can get "Batman" via Tubi ( with a Roku or Amazon Fire stick ). Our family just discovered the world of streaming last year and it's wonderful to find so MANY classic shows available...and for free! Or, better yet, you can just visit Tubi TV at their website and watch Batman anytime: https://tubitv.com/series/300008188/batman?start=true

    3. I am new to this blog, and just want to say thanks to METV for faithfully playing classic tv. A wish list for future shows include WB Hawaiian Eye and 77 Sunset Strip. The Man (and Girl!) from Uncle would be great future additions! Too bad The Fugitive, Time Tunnel and Voyage to the Bottom air in the wee hours of the morning Best of luck!
