The Impossibly Difficult Name that Movie Game

Shooting at air balloons.... it won't ever become a popular hobby, but oddly enough you will see men doing it in several films. Can you guess which film this gentleman with the yellow balloon appeared in?

As always, if you are not familiar with the rules to the Impossibly Difficult Name that Movie game or the prize, click here!

GAME OVER. Congratulations to Damsbo for correctly guessing the title of this film - "Blast-Off" aka "Those Fantastic Flying Fools" (1967) starring Burl Ives, Lionel Jeffries, and Terry-Thomas.

  2. That's from "Those Fantastic Flying Fools" (1967), aka "Jules Verne's Rocket to the Moon", as it involves using a cannon to fire giant projectiles filled with people to the moon (sic) ?!
As you can probably tell, it's partly a spoof on "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines, or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 Hours 11 Minutes" (1965).

    2. Martin, I completely missed this comment! You didn't miss it though - that's a bullseye guess!! "Rocket to the Moon" is not a well-known film but an entertaining one none the less. Good for you for recognizing this scene! You'll have to let me know how many photos you want, I lost count!
